We have always admired this cute mural painted in downtown Brooklyn, across the street from what was once the “Fat Kid Spot” (made famous by Jason Dill’s part in DVS’ Skate More video), and today, is the Golconda Skatepark. It was painted by, if we remember correctly, a 4th grade class of a nearby elementary school. The credit and inscription have since been obscured by an elevator of new condominiums built on top of it.
We know that ripping off a bunch of 4th graders’ mural so we can fund a skate trip to Europe or something is not the most honorable venture we could take in our current troubled earth. So, all profits from this shirt will go to Save The Children’s Hurricane Maria Relief Fund, which provides survivors of the tragedy that took place in Puerto Rico with aid and resources.
