With over 20 years of history, Makia was born from a spontaneous idea shared over drinks by Finnish pro snowboarders Joni Malmi, Jussi Oksanen, and Jesse Hyvärinen. This idea turned into a brand story so compelling that it has already been captured in a book—and the story continues.
