Poetic Collective

Poetic Collective's subtle and high-culture approach meets the grittier world of skaters. Poetic Collective comes from Malmö, Sweden, but the founder, Tom Botwid, came up with the brand while studying and painting at an art academy in Berlin.

In Berlin, Botwid’s interest focused particularly on conceptual art, where the idea or purpose is more important than the final piece. Now, Poetic’s decks are textbook examples of what conceptual art can be about.

Botwid and his brother Paul Botwid are also long-time skaters, so perhaps it was just a matter of time before they combined their passion into a skate brand. As such, Poetic Collective is truly unique, and the brand's widespread popularity is proof of this: when everything imaginable is offered in the skate market, standing out is not a coincidence but a skill.
